NEW DELHI, May 23 -- A Delhi court on Friday dismissed the bail plea of Delhi Police inspector Subhash Yadav, accused in a bribery case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The order was passed special CBI judge Vijeta Singh Rawat of Rouse Avenue courts. Yadav was posted with the narcotics department of the Dwarka zone and was arrested by the CBI on May 11 after Rs.2 lakh was allegedly recovered from his office. He has been accused of accepting bribes from victims by threatening to falsely implicate them in narcotics cases. The agency also arrested a constable from his office on the allegations of accepting bribes.
