NEW DELHI, May 6 -- A Delhi court on Tuesday allowed the confiscation of properties and assets belonging to UK-based arms dealer and fugitive economic offender (FEO) Sanjay Bhandari in connection with a money laundering case being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The order was passed by special judge Sanjay Jindal of Rouse Avenue courts. While the court directed confiscation of some properties, situated in India and directly belonging to Bhandari, it reserved its decision to adjudicate on the alleged "benami" properties situated abroad for July 18.
