Kolkata, Aug. 10 -- Former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday said that a mob hurled stones, mud and shoes at her car during a visit to North 24 Parganas district to meet the family of a TMC worker who had died in police custody.
Banerjee blamed the BJP for the incident and said that she "could have died". The BJP rejected the charge, with chief minister Suvendu Adhikari saying that the victim's family said they don't want any interference from Banerjee. P7
