Bengaluru, Oct. 2 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday underwent a procedure to have a pacemaker implanted, his son and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge said on Wednesday. The 83-year-old veteran politician, who also serves as Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, was admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru after complaints of fever and leg pain, party leaders said.
