cm joins bjp protest in cpon woman's bill
New Delhi, April 29 -- Chief minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, along with women MPs, protested the defeat of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill 2026 at Connaught Place on Tuesday.
Attacking the Opposition parties, CM Gupta claimed: "After years of waiting, it seemed that women might finally get 33% reservation in the Lok Sabha, but some political parties treat women merely as a vote bank and denied them their rights."
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva alleged that the "anti-women face of Opposition parties had been fully exposed."
