CM Dhami says youth to get education, jobs in Uttarakhand to curb migration
India, Sept. 20 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state government is focusing on creating education, employment and skill development opportunities within the state so that young people do not have to migrate in search of better prospects.
Addressing a youth and student dialogue programme at a private hotel in Kashipur on Saturday, Dhami said the government aims to ensure that no talented student is left behind due to a lack of opportunities. More than 1,400 students from 17 schools participated in the programme, during which the chief minister heard their views and suggestions and discussed the role of young people in achieving the goal of a developed India.
