India, Nov. 17 -- In an effort to deal with Delhi's worsening air pollution, authorities in the capital, with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, conducted a cloud seeding experiment on October 28, 2025 with the goal of inducing artificial rain that could help wash away toxins and smog in the air to some extent. However, despite the high expectations, little to no rain was seen due to inadequate atmospheric conditions, particularly lack of moisture in the clouds.
