India, Aug. 12 -- AI giant Anthropic has said it will watermark text generated by its Claude chatbot, as part of commitments under the European Union's AI Act. In a support page, Anthropic said the policy will "apply to output from supported Claude models". "When a supported Claude model generates text, it weaves an imperceptible watermark directly into the text itself. You won't see it, and it doesn't change the meaning, quality, or readability of Claude's response," the firm said.
