India, Aug. 9 -- Work on road infrastructure project between NDA (Chandni Chowk) and Bhugaon is likely to begin soon, with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) floating a Rs.164-crore tender on Thursday after completing around 80% of the land acquisition required for the project.

The project will include a 60-metre-wide flyover, a 70-metre-long bridge over the Ram River, a 430-metre-long underpass near the PVPIIT College junction and service roads on either side of the flyover. The infrastructure is expected to improve traffic movement along the 2.2-km stretch between Chandni Chowk and Bhugaon, civic officials said.
