India, Aug. 21 -- Online higher education in India is increasingly being viewed alongside the changing requirements of the workplace. As artificial intelligence (AI), automation and digital technologies reshape jobs, learners are placing greater emphasis on acquiring skills that remain relevant beyond a single degree or qualification.

Deloitte's 2025 Global Gen Z and Millennial Survey highlights some of the factors influencing this shift in India.
