Chandigarh, Aug. 22 -- The Chandigarh tourism department has launched an online application facility for residents seeking approval under the Bed & Breakfast (B&B) policy, allowing citizens to register their establishments and apply for categorisation as Silver or Gold properties through the department's website.

Under the new online system, applicants will have to submit detailed information about their proposed Bed & Breakfast establishments, including ownership details, location, infrastructure, facilities and compliance with local regulations.

Residents applying under the scheme will have to provide basic particulars such as the name of the establishment, category applied for (Silver or Gold), name of the owner or authorised manager...
