New Delhi, March 4 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday further postponed class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled for Thursday and Friday in several West Asian countries following the US-Israel joint strikes on Iran and the latter's retaliatory strikes on neighbouring Gulf states. Extending its earlier decision of postponing the examinations amid the "current situation" in West Asia, the board in a fresh circular on Tuesday informed principals of over 150 CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that after a "critical review" of the situation in parts of the region, it has decided to postpone examinations scheduled for both class 10 and 12.
