India, Sept. 6 -- Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said vehicles in his cavalcade were fined Rs.8 lakh for speeding on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, as he alleged that the "person operating the speed cameras must owe allegiance to the BJP". Addressing a press conference at the SP state headquarters in Lucknow, he said, "The amount that I have to pay is Rs.8 lakh and I have asked my team to get it paid. I am sure that the person who was operating the camera must be owing allegiance to the BJP. I will get it investigated." HTC
