Bengaluru/Chennai, Aug. 3 -- Karnataka chief minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday said his Tamil Nadu counterpart C Joseph Vijay agreed to postpone his planned Bengaluru visit at his request, arguing that the decision would help preserve a peaceful atmosphere amid the Cauvery water dispute.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu minister R Nirmal Kumar said that the state has decided to approach the Supreme Court for an "immediate solution" to the long-standing issue. P5
