India, Nov. 5 -- Traffic movement in several parts of south Delhi was disrupted for several hours on Tuesday afternoon due to a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus catching fire near Dhaula Kuan and a road crash near South Extension, officials said. The twin incidents led to heavy congestion on the Outer Ring Road and Ring Road, with adjoining stretches also affected as motorists took alternative routes to avoid the jams.
According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), a call about a fire in a DTC bus was received at 11.53am, after which two fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
