India, Sept. 21 -- A three-alarm fire broke out at a three-story apartment building on Delaware Avenue in North Buffalo on Saturday. The blaze was reported around 2:30 p.m.
According to Alert Page, heavy smoke and flames were visible from the Charlie side of the building and the roof. One person was reportedly trapped on a third-floor balcony and was in the process of being rescued. However, authorities have not yet confirmed this.
Multiple crews are working to get the fire under control.
Several witnesses and residents took to social media to report the blaze.
One person wrote, "You can smell it over on hertel and Elmwood too."
