India, May 4 -- BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari is getting tough fight from TMC's Pabitra Kar as the clash of Nandigram seat in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections heads towards a tight finish.

By the end of 15 rounds of counting, Suvendu had polled over 102106 votes. TMC's Pabitra Kar trailed in second place with 100568 votes, while CPI's Santi Gopal Giri is a distant third with 2691 votes. While Suvendu was leading comfortably throughout the day, the dynamics changed after 4 pm as Pabitra made great progress. The difference between Suvendu, who still leads and kar, after 15 rounds, is just 1538 votes.
