BJP alleges large-scale rigging by AAP after Punjab municipal election loss
India, May 30 -- A day after the Aam Aadmi Party recorded a victory in the Punjab municipal elections, newly appointed state BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon accused the ruling party of resorting to large-scale rigging and using state machinery to intimidate opposition candidates.
Speaking during a visit to senior BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia in Jalandhar on Saturday, Dhillon claimed that while ruling parties historically influence local polls, the AAP broke all records to win at any cost.
