India, June 4 -- A Bengaluru man's viral tweet has sparked a heated online debate regarding the strict regulations enforced within modern Indian apartment complexes. The resident lashed out, claiming that residential societies are majorly suffering from "boomer rules." He explained that most members of these committees are retired individuals who introduce impractical restrictions, such as banning residents from sitting on the grass or prohibiting kids from playing in open areas.

"Indian Apartment societies are suffering from boomer rules. Most in the MC are these retired folks who have made stupid rules like no sitting on grass, kids shouldn't play in vacant areas, no balls (inflatable) in pools etc," the Bengaluru man wrote.
