India, March 26 -- The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Mukundananda Brahmachari in a case registered against them under the Pocso Act. The judgment was passed by justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha on the anticipatory bail application moved by Avimukteshwaranand and Mukundanand. The case pertains to an FIR lodged at the Jhunsi police station after directions from a Pocso court, alleging sexual exploitation of two minor disciples by the accused. Avimukteshwaranand has been in the headlines for his confrontation with the Uttar Pradesh government over his alleged mistreatment during the Magh Mela in Prayagraj. htc
