India, Aug. 14 -- Awarapan 2 box office collection day 1: Emraan Hashmi's Shivam Pandit has finally got his due at the box office, it seems. Awarapan 2, the sequel, got off to a record-breaking start at the ticket window, poised to shatter records for Emraan Hashmi and Vishesh Films. It has also already surpassed the lifetime collection of Awarapan, the first part, before the end of day 1. Awarapan 2 is tracking to have one of the biggest openings for Bollywood in 2026 and has comfortably outpaced Batwara 1947, the Sunny Deol-starrer that clashed with it at the box office on August 14.
