India, Aug. 12 -- Australia, led by Pat Cummins, will once again begin its charge towards yet another World Test Championship (WTC) final when the hosts take on Bangladesh in the opening Test of the two-match series, beginning Thursday, August 13. Australia have chosen to field a full-strength playing XI, with Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Cummins, and Nathan Lyon all part of it.

Just like the Ashes, Travis Head will once again open the batting for the hosts alongside Jake Weatherald. Australia have chosen to include both all-rounders - Cameron Green and Beau Webster in the playing XI.
