India, Aug. 14 -- The Assam Police has registered a case against four residents of Arunachal Pradesh in connection with a firing incident along the inter-state border in Dhemaji district that left 11 Assam residents injured, state education minister Ranoj Pegu said on Thursday. Pegu said police have identified the four accused and sought their custody from the neighbouring state after sharing their details. Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK), the apex student organisation of Assam's Mising community, on Thursday night temporarily lifted the economic blockade of Arunachal Pradesh, giving a 48-hour ultimatum to nab the four accused and hand them over to Assam Police. htc
