Silchar, July 10 -- An 18-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abducting, raping and killing an eight-year-old girl in Assam's Sribhumi, police said on Thursday. The accused knew the victim and allegedly lured her to a forested area near her home. Police have lodged a case under sections of Pocso Act and BNS.
