Panchkula, Aug. 23 -- Senior officers of the army, Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police held a joint meeting at Western Command Headquarters, Chandimandir, on Saturday to strengthen border management and enhance coordination to combat drug and weapons smuggling, infiltration and illegal crossings.

The meeting was chaired by Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command. Officials discussed measures to dismantle the narco-terror nexus, strengthen anti-drone capabilities and establish a unified intelligence grid for closer coordination among security agencies.
