India, Oct. 31 -- Anganwadi Workers and Helpers took centre stage at the 'Angan Ka Milan' programme organised by the Delhi government's Department of Women and Child Development in New Delhi district on October 30. The event, held at the NDMC Community Centre on Babar Road, recognised the contribution of frontline functionaries in strengthening nutrition, preschool education and early childhood care at the community level.

Delhi minister for Public Works Department (PWD) Parvesh Verma attended the programme as the chief guest.
