India, Sept. 27 -- Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday and urged him to help farmers who have faced losses due to heavy rains that lashed parts of the state recently. Alongside, the chief minister also sought approval to develop three defence corridors in the state, transfer of 58-acre land in Dahisar to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for public amenities, and permission for mining in Gadchiroli to make steel, cheaper than China.
