Patna, Sept. 26 -- The stenographer of the Bihar chief minister's office (CMO) was booked on Friday under Pocso Act for allegedly uploading the picture of the Jamui harassment-molestation victim and her family on social media. It came amid a political row over the incident, with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) lawmaker Misa Bharti claiming her complaint against CM Samrat Choudhary was not registered by the police.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya Kumar Sharma said the stenographer, identified as Sagar Kumar, has been charged with the case of uploading pictures of the Jamui victim in the X handle of the CM.
