After anti-NEET bill, Vijay-led Tamil Nadu govt votes to freeze Lok Sabha strength at 543
India, Aug. 12 -- A day after a bill seeking the removal of the NEET examination was moved in the Tamil Nadu assembly, Chief Minister Vijay moved a resolution on the delimitation and women's reservation bill.
As per reports, the TVK leader's resolution urges the Centre to maintain the Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha ratio at 2.2 : 1 by keeping the seats fixed at 543.
The resolution also called for the immediate implementation of the 33 per cent women's reservation in the existing 543 seats in the Lok Sabha.
