Kolkata, July 19 -- The South 24 Parganas district administration on Saturday demolished the party office of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee at Amtala after it was found to be constructed allegedly without an approved building plan and in violation of applicable rules, people aware of the matter said.
"Notices were served to Amit Banerjee, Abhishek's father, the director of Leaps and Bounds Private Limited at least twice to appear for hearing with all documents related to the construction. No one appeared," an official of the zilla parishad. HTC
