New Delhi, March 16 -- With the dates for the West Bengal assembly polls announced on Sunday, uncertainty surrounds more than six million voters marked under "adjudication" in the state's electoral rolls during the special intensive revision (SIR), none of whom can contest the election until their status is cleared. According to an ECI official, the first batch of supplementary rolls featuring these voters "is expected to be released this week".
