Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- Police in Odisha's Cuttack district on Wednesday arrested two retired police personnel, two retired home guards and two serving home guards, nearly a decade after an alleged custodial death of 44-year-old man Saroj Senapati alias Akula. "The six were arrested after sufficient evidence was found against them," said Narasinghpur police station inspector-in-charge Tapan Pati. The case dates back to December 9, 2016. Police had initially denied allegations of torture, claiming he died in a scuffle with cops. HTC
