AGRA, Aug. 23 -- Five inmates have been named in an FIR in connection with the alleged killing of a 14-year-old at the State Girls Protection Home in Vrindavan, Mathura, with police suspecting that others may also have been involved in the crime. The girl was found dead in the protection home's bathroom on Friday, and the case was registered on Saturday after two 15-year-old inmates allegedly confessed to drowning her.

According to officials, the FIR was registered at Vrindavan police station on a complaint by the superintendent in-charge of the protection home against five named and other unidentified inmates under sections 191(2) (provoking riot), 103(1) (murder), 238(a) (causing disappearance of evidence), 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) ...
