Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- Four members of a family, including two children, were found dead at their residence in Andhra Pradesh's Vishakhapatnam early on Saturday, police said, suspecting that it could be a suicide pact.
The deceased include a 32-year-old autorickshaw driver, his 28-year-old wife who was a vegetable vendor and their two daughters aged three and two. The incident happened at their rented house in a village on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam city.
A case has been registered and a probe was launched to ascertain the circumstances. "We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths and have yet to establish the exact sequence of events," an officer said.
