PRAYAGRAJ, June 3 -- Bodies of an elderly couple, their daughter and an unidentified man were found in a building in the South Malaka area of Prayagraj on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The crime came to light when residents reported a strong smell coming out of a house on Hewett Road. Officers from the Kotwali police station reached the spot and broke open the lock on the gate. During the search, police recovered the bodies of Virendra Kumar Vaishya (70), his wife Anita (65) from a room on the first floor of the building. The body of their daughter, Meenakshi (40), was found in an adjacent room. A fourth body was later found in a shop on the ground floor.
