Gurugram, May 3 -- A 39-year-old man killed his wife and four children before attempting suicide in Wazirpur village in Gurugram late on Saturday, police officers said. The man was admitted to a government hospital in the city and is critical, they said. The police said that according to an initial probe, the man allegedly poisoned his 35-year-old wife, three daughters - aged 14, 12 and 10 - and eight-year-old son. "We have informed the woman's family and the bodies are being sent for a post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations indicate that the man poisoned all five and slit his wrist using a knife," said Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Turan.
