Karnal, Aug. 13 -- Three of the family were killed and two others were injured after a tractor-trailer overturned in the fields of Kachwa-Bahlolpur road in Karnal on Wednesday, police said.

The deceased, Abrar Khan, 28, his brother Khalid, 24, and their uncle Fazru, 55, all were residents of Umarpur village of Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh. The two other injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Officials said one of the injured victims has broken his leg and is said to be in serious condition.
