Raipur, Sept. 29 -- Three Maoists carrying a cumulative bounty of Rs.14 lakh were killed in an encounter with security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district on Sunday, police said, taking the number of ultras killed in gunfights in the state to 252 so far this year. The encounter broke out on a forested hill near Chhindkhadak village along the border of Kanker and Gariaband districts, where a joint team of security personnel was carrying out an anti-Maoist operation, Kanker SP Indira Kalyan Elesela said.
