Kota, Jan. 5 -- Three pilgrims were killed, and eight others were injured on Sunday after a truck loaded with cotton lost control and overturned onto devotees walking on the road in Rajasthan's Bundi district, said police. Police said the victims were on a foot pilgrimage to the Chauth Mata temple near Papdi Laban in the Dei Kheda police station area of Bundi district when the speeding vehicle overturned onto the devotees. Injured devotees said that the truck, coming at a high speed from Laban, hit the pilgrims, lost balance, and overturned, trapping several people underneath.
