India, Sept. 12 -- In a crucial decision that will benefit lakhs of Mumbaikars, the state government is set to draw up a fresh policy to grant occupancy certificates (OCs) to over 25,000 buildings, in Mumbai and its suburbs constructed under development control regulations of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), Slum Redevelopment Authority (SRA) and other bodies.
