India, Sept. 14 -- A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Purulia district of West Bengal for allegedly killing his girlfriend over suspicion of cheating, police said on Sunday, adding that the accused was caught carrying her body in a sack tied to his motorcycle while attempting to dump it. "The accused, Amit Kumar Mahato, was caught at a police checkpoint on the state highway to Jamshedpur while attempting to dump the body. The body of the victim, Pritika Mahato, 20, was found inside a sack tied to the rear seat of the motorcycle," a police officer said on anonymity. The officer said the incident took place on Saturday, adding that the accused confessed to killing the woman over suspicion of cheating. htc
