India, Aug. 24 -- At least six people, including Delhi Aam Aadmi Party MLA Anil Jha and Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Abhay Patil, were injured after a hatchback crossed a road divider and crashed into an SUV near the PWD headquarters on Vikas Marg near ITO in central Delhi on Sunday night, police said.

The two MLAs were travelling in the SUV when the crash occurred. All those injured sustained minor injuries and were taken to Lok Nayak Hospital, police said. They are in stable condition.

Deputy commissioner of police (central) Rohit Ranbir Singh said the IP Estate police station received a call about the road crash at around 9.30pm.
