2 docs booked for removing gall bladder by mistake in Nuh
Gurugram, April 22 -- At least two doctors and a private hospital in Tauru, Nuh, have been booked for alleged medical negligence after a 24-year-old patient's gall bladder was removed instead of treating a urinary tract stone, police said on Wednesday.
A health department board found the gall bladder was normal and flagged tampering of records to suggest consent for two procedures, though attendants had approved only stone surgery.
An FIR has been registered at City Tauru police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including criminal conspiracy.
