Panaji, Nov. 2 -- A tourist from Uttar Pradesh was allegedly murdered by a 31-year-old man in Goa for attempting to steal an SUV he had rented from the accused, police said on Saturday, adding that the accused has been arrested. The body of Kapil Chaudhury, 19, was found at an isolated area in North Goa's Thivim on Friday morning, with injury marks on his face and body prompting the police to launch a homicide probe, officials said. During investigation, police narrowed down on a suspect, identified as Gurudatta Lawande, who had rented out a Mahindra Thar SUV to Chaudhury.
