India, April 13 -- A horrific road accident near Rayata Bridge on the Kalyan-Murbad Road in Maharashtra's Thane district, claimed lives of 11 people on Monday. The crash involved a cement mixer and an Eeco van, in which all the victims were travelling.

The fatal crash took place around 10:45 am on the Raita Bridge in Govili village of Murbad, a district rural police official told PTI.
