India, Sept. 5 -- Heavy rainfall led to severe waterlogging along the approach roads and forecourts of Terminals 2 and 3 at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday, September 4. Although the water was eventually cleared, the sudden flooding left scores of passengers stranded and panicking about missing their flights. Among those stuck outside waiting for the water to recede was Mansi, who said she had never witnessed such severe waterlogging at the airport.

"Aisa pehle kabhi nahi dekha [I've never seen anything like this]," she told ANI. She added, "There is so much water. I've been standing here for about half an hour now. I am waiting for the water level to recede a bit so I can head towards the arrival gates."
