India, Aug. 23 -- Social media videos of mothers throwing water at their children have triggered outrage on X. In the videos, women are seen sitting with infants on their lap and splashing water an them from a cup or a bottle.

"Just another white liberal TikTok mom abusing her child on camera thinking she's funny. CPS needs to pay her a visit immediately," one X user wrote, sharing a video of a mother splashing water on her child while smiling.

"Imagine thinking this is funny.," another user wrote.

Another similar video is captioned, "Why are there so many videos circulating online right now of women abusing their children on camera? They're filming themselves hurting their kids, laughing while they do it. This is pure evil."
