India, April 25 -- Former army chief General Manoj Naravane has brought out two books after his unpublished memoir, "Four Stars of Destiny", sparked a row earlier this year. Looking back, he said it was "not warranted" to quote him and pull him into public attention over that book.

Notably, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was prevented from referring to parts of the memoir in the Lok Sabha, as the book had not been published at that time in February this year.

The general, who has recently published "The Curious and the Classified: Unearthing Military Myths and Mysteries", said he has moved past the issue. He added that he has already completed two books and another one will be released soon.
