'If not now, when': Sonam Wangchuk joins Cockroach Janta Party's protest call amid NEET, CBSE rows
India, June 2 -- Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk on Tuesday announced that he will be joining the Cockroach Janta Party June 6 protest call if no action is taken by June 5, backing the movement's demand for the resignation of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
This comes hours after founder Abhijeet Dipke hinted that an eminent personality would back the movement. Shortly before the announcement, Dipke posted on X saying, "The wait is over," while the party's backup account, 'Cockroach Is Back', said it was "about to make a big announcement".
