New Delhi, May 20 -- Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday criticised Rahul Gandhi after the leader of the opposition accused the Centre of inaction and favouring tycoons in the face of an impending "economic storm". In a sharp rebuttal, Sitharaman, accused the Congress of obstructing nation-building and fear-mongering. "If Congress and its leaders cannot contribute positively to nation-building, they should stop being obstructionists. A responsible opposition does not engage in fear mongering," she posted on X.
